The FAQ

Do you Travel?

Camera and bags are packed! Where are we traveling to?

How long have you been doing this?

I'm entering my sixth year as a wedding photographer and have photographed 80 beautiful weddings so far!

How many photos do we get?

That is a difficult question to answer, as each wedding day and session are unique and no two are alike. For 6-8 hour weddings you are looking at between 700-1500 photos and 10 hour weddings are between 1500-2300 photos. Couple, engagement, and maternity sessions are between 80-250 photos.

Whats your turn around time?

My turnaround time for weddings is 6-8 weeks with sneak previews posted to social media within 24-72 hours
All other sessions are 3-4 weeks with sneak peeks posted to social media within 24-72 hours.

How do we book you?

That is wonderful news! I love to sit down ahead with my couples to get to know them and to go over their vision for their day. After contractual questions are answered, the couple is free to sign my contract and pay a 25% non-refundable retainer.

Can you help us with planning?

Absolutely yes! It's not every day you get married. Let me help you! I can offer tips on lighting, ceremony set up, as well as decor suggestions and alternatives.

How far out do you book?

With weddings, I book two years out. My calendar fills fast with brides planning their wedding 1-2 years in advance, especially if you are planning for a fall wedding.

Should we do an engagement session?

My honest opinion? Yes. Now hear me out, think of it as a trial run. You have a chance, well ahead of the wedding, to become comfortable in front of the camera. In addition, you get to see how I work which helps you know what to expect for your wedding day. Check out my blog post showcasing Nicole and Nik's session for more information.

What should we wear?

I always tell my clients to dress comfortably and to find clothes that move with them. I want you both to feel like a million bucks and if you choose an outfit that you aren’t comfortable in or with, it will show in the photos. In addition, having texture to the fabric can add a little extra "ompf" to your photos. Some examples of this could be lace, velvet, knits, gauzy or crepe fabrics, etc. Still not sure, let me style you!
