Isn't it just the most heartwarming feeling when couples keep coming back to you, entrusting you with capturing their precious memories? It's like being given a front-row seat to their love story, witnessing all their special moments! What can be more delightful and rewarding for a photographer than that? I first met Jenna and Erik when they were looking for a wedding photographer. Little did I know that this was the beginning of a beautiful journey – one filled with love, laughter, and a whole lot of clicks! From capturing their first dance as a married couple to freezing the heart-melting moments of their first maternity shoot, I've been there to witness it all. And now, it's time for another exciting chapter – a second maternity shoot for this ever-growing, ever-loving family! I was so happy when Jenna booked her second maternity session! She shared her vision of a nursery blooming with wildflowers, and we both were on the same page - what a fantastic theme for her maternity shoot as well!
Isn't the chic simplicity of the studio wildflower theme just stunning? The bright flower colors popping against the calm white backdrop make for a beautiful sight. And that cute seagrass rush bench, giving off boho vibes, adds the perfect finishing touch. With the scene set, it was time to get photographing!
Jenna, Erik, and their adorable family arrived at the studio and their session was everything a photographer could ever want! A playful breeze wafted through, carrying with it the infectious sound of their son's laughter, a sound that could brighten even the gloomiest of days. It seemed as if the warm, golden sunset light was heaven-sent as we focused on Jenna's late father's bolo tie. It was as if he was there with them, a comforting presence watching over his beloved daughter and her family. A heartwarming reminder that our loved ones are never truly gone.
Capping off our session, Jenna slipped into a stunning, flowy olive-green dress from my brand-new client closet - it's as if it was tailored just for her! When the spotlight shifted to just Jenna and Erik, the room practically vibrated with their love. The way they gazed at each other, you'd swear they were fresh off their wedding vows, not three years deep! I’m thrilled beyond words to have this radiant family grace my lens once more and I can’t wait to document more magical moments for this wonderful family!
